Wood-Whack drumsticks have been on the market since 1991 and have been exclusively distributed by L.P. Music Group (Latin Percussion). They are now available to retailers directly from the manufacturer.
Wood-Whack drumsticks are a patented design made of seven 16" birch dowels fitted into a 5" durable plastic grip. Every Wood-Whack stick comes with a 1 1/2" plastic sleeve, which can be moved up or down the dowels to produce different tones.
Wood-Whacks come in three sizes:
W-103 Heavy - closest in width to a 3-S marching drumstick
W-102 Light - closest in width to a 2-B drumstick
W-101 Ultra-Light - closest in width to a 5-B drumstick
